that they have a serious problem as patients are entering the facility acting paranoid and are very sick. She stated that the Angel Program is a good way to enable long-term solutions for people struggling with addiction.

Steve Gillmore, the mayor of Ashland, indicated that there are no easy answers when it comes to drug issues in the area. He said that drugs are a plague in the community and that the safety of the people is the number one priority.

Gillmore indicated that they have a police department that is ready to recognize that people are willing to change. He stated that they all need to come together.

Rhonda Copley, the Boyd County commonwealth’s attorney, said that she believes that the Angel Program will become a wonderful addition to the county and give people the opportunity to come into a police station for help without it being ordered by the court to do so.
