a few miles away from Noah’s Home, Gracie’s Place features 12 beds as well as amenities such as full kitchens and laundry rooms, in a site where a hair salon was going to be built.
Lloyd explained that the new drug addiction recovery center was renovated and equipped with donations from a number of local organizations and charities.
Residents and members of the Chambersburg community have come together and continue to gather to support Gracie’s Place in several manners — upcoming events, such as a baseball game that will take place in August, have been organized by the county to fight drug addiction and also benefit Gracie’s Place.
Lloyd has expressed enormous gratitude for the support he has received from the community and stated he hopes he can, in turn, help locals as well.
“It’s about giving back,” he said. “So, anybody coming through here should try to have that same mindset.”
