Opioid Addiction Recovery in Steubenville Highlighted in Discussion Panel   

Steubenville Police Department will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) National Drug Take Back Day.

The department will have a prescription drop off site and will then be partnering with police departments of neighboring counties to arrange the implementation of additional drop off sites.

According to the DEA representatives, Ohio had 263 prescription collection sites during the last National Drug Take Back Day, which was held in October. These sites collected a total of 35,797 pounds of medications, the agency highlighted.
