indicating that there would be security at all hours of the day and that loitering would not be allowed.

Bynum has indicated he plans to move forward with the drug detox center and hopes to see the residents adapt and even involve themselves with the treatment center.

The mayor also said that he is enthusiastic about the development of the construction and that he believes there’s been significant progress so far.  

A written report indicated that the project should be completed in May. The report also revealed that there’s still some work left to be done; such as electrical wiring and plumbing but much of the interior is complete. The total budget for the construction of the new addiction treatment center is estimated to be $1.1 million. The project was approved by the Department of Local Government Finance and the funding was approved by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.
