assisted hundreds of students and that during each semester he gets to meet regularly with roughly 25 of them.

Additional programs and services are provided by UHS to the students who are struggling with substance use disorders or want to have support through recovery. The university also gives students the opportunity to choose to be placed in drug-free housing, which features sobriety support and related services.

A number of other resources are also available around the city of Ann Arbor for the local community members in recovery, such as 12-step meetings which are held more than ten times every day in close proximity to the school.
