Addiction Recovery Centers in Atlanta Will Receive State Funding

from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Members of the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse highlighted that the federal funds that were provided by the previous presidential administration have been exhausted and action is needed now.

The nonprofit organization has trained addiction coaches to work in emergency rooms in different areas of the state and created a substance abuse assistance hotline.
