There is family participation added to help the teens in treatment. Once a week, family sessions are set up to include discussions about communication patterns, treatment developments, values and belief systems, and expectations. Patients in the program also are allotted time to focus on their schoolwork, which allows them to keep up with their academics as much as possible.
